Does Curt Hitch 13555 2007 Honda CR-V Well

Question:

I am looking for a 2 inch receiver that is not much oversize as to reduce play without having to add a secondary tightening device to eliminate play. I ordered one from ebay and when it came in it measured 2 and 3/16 inches inside up and down directions. I returned it because in addition to excess sloppyness, it was also damaged in shipping. i was about to order your Curt for my 2007 Honda CR-V, but thought I should check first to be sure it is a closer fit than the no name brand that I returned.

The Curt hitch part # 13555 is a great fit for your 2007 Honda CR-V but I can see why the one you received didn't fit well due to the larger mounting flanges being pretty big. It's pretty common for hitches this size to get bent in shipping which you can bend them back as long as the paint doesn't flake or the show any creases.

Or if you are referring to play between the hitch accessory and the hitch itself that is very common and there isn't a tighter version available.
