I believe I have just the parts for you!

For your 2019 Honda Fit, I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521571-5 for your base plate. This base plate is great because the drawbars are so easy to operate. Simply, insert them into the brackets and twist to lock them into place. To remove them, all you need to do is pull the built in pin to disengage the lock, then twist and pull. Since you mention you want one person to be able to handle hookup, this will do a great job in providing an easy hookup/disconnect.

For a braking system, since you do not want a permanent option incase you wish to move the system to a different vehicle, I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400. This lightweight system makes it a breeze to transport between towed vehicles. Also, the Even Brake features a built in inertia sensor which will detect deceleration and will signal the system to apply the brakes.

If your Fit is not equipped with the smart entry system, then you'll need to pull the 20 Amp Front ACC Socket, and the 7.5 Amp ACC Fuses located in the interior fuse box when flat towing for more than 8 hours.

To avoid having to pull fuses every time you plan to flat tow, I recommend a fuse bypass kit; # RM76512 will be used for the 20 amp fuse, and # RM76511 will be used for the 7.5 amp fuse. With this bypass kit, you will alleviate having to pull and replace fuses every time you flat tow.

Finally, to complete the flat tow set up, if you're interested, you'll need:

- A tow bar # RM-676
- Tow bar wiring # RM-154
- High low adapter # RM-048-4
