Does The 3M Tape On Buyers Products Magnetic Mounting Plate Damage Car Paint?

does the tape damage the roof over time? my trucks in my fleet are rentals. looking for a way to secure the magnetic light fixture to roof and not damage the roof of our F-150 vehicles.

The Buyers Products Magnetic Mounting Plate - Self-Adhesive - 3-1/2" Square # 3378895404 uses 3M adhesive tape which is used quite often in the automotive industry and it will not hurt the paint on your roof. Just make sure that you clean the surface prior to installation, and also use some sort of adhesive remover such as Goo-Gone when removing the plates after your vehicles no longer need them.
These plates are designed to be used with various magnetic-mounted lights such as Blazer Amber Warning Light Bar - SAE Class II - LED - 12V - Magnetic Mount - 20 Flash Patterns # C4850AW. I also attached a link to the other magnetic lights on our site.
