Question:
Hi, I recently returned from Switzerland with a Thule E bike carrier and have been trying to find some way to covert the 8 prong connector offset - the prongs are all on one side to my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Would you have any idea? Please lmk. Thanks

You are going to have to create your own wiring harness as when I spoke to Thule they do not make a conversion kit for what you are needing.
You will need a Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 and a either a Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM47910 or a Hopkins 7-Pole Round Connector # H20042.
I was unable to locate the exact color wiring used with your 8-pin connector, so I have included the chart that can be used to identify each of the wires on your Thule E-Bike carrier that you got in Switzerland. While your connector only has 8 prongs it still has the 13-pin style connector it is just missing the additional pins that you will not use.
#1 Left turn signal from 13 pin connector to the yellow output wire on the Curt converter.
#2 connection on the 13 pin connector will not be used.
#3 Ground wire from the 13 pin connector to the white wire on the Curt converter and white wire of 5/7way pigtail.
#4 Right turn signal from 13 pin connector to the green output wire on the curt converter.
#5 and # 7 running lights from 13 pin connector to brown wire on 5-way or green wire on 7-way.
#6 Brake light from 13 pin connector to red wire on Curt converter.
#8 Reverse wire on 13 pin connector to blue wire on 5-way or yellow wire on 7-way.
Green input wire on Curt converter to green wire on 5-way or brown wire on 7-way.
Yellow input wire on Curt converter to yellow wire on 5-way or red wire on 7-way.
The blue and black wires on the 7-way will not be used and should not be connected.
