Question:
Im pulling a 2022 Airstream Trailer only trailer I pull, Tandem Axle, with Trailer brakes and am looking for my best options that save me having to run wires from the rear of my 2021 Toyota Sequoia Platinum up to the dash. The Sequoia has both a 7 blade and 4 or 5 pin pre-wired from the factory and a standard 2inch Receiver. My Sequoia also has a tow/haul mode, but, aside from that, Im unsure if there is a plug and play option for a controller up front? I noticed the Curt Echo you have listed shows not for a factory installed tow packageinch and I was unclear why that is the case? I didnt find that on the Curt page. Im pretty sure all 2021 Sequoias come standard with factory tow package. What are my other options pros/cons?

I would be happy to go over the options for installing a trailer brake controller in your 2021 Toyota Sequoia Platinum with the factory tow package.
Since you have the factory tow package you can easily install a trailer brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR you were looking at by using a plug-in wiring adapter. For this specific controller you would need the # 3040-P which plugs in to the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle along with # 331-TPH-017 to connect to the controller to take care of all of wiring. In addition I recommend using the custom fit mounting panel # 331-TPSI-002 which replaces the switch blank in the dash of your vehicle for a factory looking install.
With that said the easiest option is the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 you mentioned as it will work in any vehicle with a fully functional 7-way connector, and since it plugs directly in to the 7-way there is not wiring needed. This will work just fine with your factory 7-way connector.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
