Replacing A 60lbs Propane Tank With Two 30lbs Propane Tanks
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
We have a park model home and previous owner installed a 60# tank to supply gas range in home. This is not practical from a refill point of view. Photo shows set up. Earlier article provides all the info for me to change to 2 30# tanks, but I wonder if the extension line 100040-72-MBS female end will connect to the end of the existing line from regular to home inside yellow sleeve, as the female end is shown as a flare fitting. Help please.

The Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator Item # 37207-30395 has a 3/8" FPT outlet connection so if the connection you have on the yellow line running into the house is a 3/8" male flare fitting (MIF) you'll be able to use the # 100040-72-MBS. Just looking at the picture it looks like the connection is probably female so I'll need to know the actual size to find the correct adapter for you.
If you want to send in more pics of the connection on your yellow gas line I can find you the correct adapter.
