Are Trailer Brake Assembly Nuts Reverse Threaded for Opposite Side of Axle

Are the nuts and washer side specific?

Expert Reply:
The brake assembly install bolts we carry like part # 6-17 work on both sides of the trailer. They are not reverse threaded for one side of the trailer like you might be thinking. Also worth noting is that the assemblies themselves do not turn so there would be no need for that.
