What is the newer tire size description that will fit rims as I can not find any 185R14C 8PR ?

The best replacement size option we offer for a 185R14C 8PR is the Castle Rock ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHCK201. This new tire will be just slightly larger in diameter and width so there should be no issues. It has a 75 mph speed rating.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
