Range Hood Dimensions and Proper Fit

Question:

I was looking for a range hood in stainless. Our cabinet is only 15 inches and I found item # FHO23SACRSS that is listed as 14 3/4 deep. However in the description it then states 17 3/4 deep. Can you confirm what depth the item actually is?

According to the video for the Furrion # FHO23SACRSS, the depth from the front edge to the back is 16-5/8" then there is a 1" collar that would normally fit into wall opening for the outside vent. So 17-5/8" if you count that. The measurement across the front is 23-1/2" wide, and the height at the back is 4-3/4". I have attached a link to the video below.

Keep in mind that most range hoods extend beyond the cabinet several inches to better draw off the front range burners, so this would probably work out great.

I have attached a picture of my trailer's black range hood. It's not a great picture, but you can see it extends 4 or 5 inches beyond the cabinet which seems about right to me.
