Today we're taking a look at the Furrion vented range hood with a 12 volt fan. This range hood ventilates smoke, removes odors, and provides additional lighting while cooking in your RV. Now there's a few things with this range hood that I really want to point out. It has two technologies that are built into it, which makes it ideal for RV use. It has climate smart technology, which keeps the range hood running in even the most extreme climates, whether it's hot or cold. Also it has vibration smart technology which helps the range hood resist vibration, which is great for any application that is mobile.
There's a lot of vibration that takes place anytime you're transporting or heading down the road, this is built specifically to resist vibration that takes place when traveling.It does have a 12 volt fan. I'm going to flip this unit over. We have a 12 volt fan. We also have a lens right here. This is the LED light.
This illuminates the cooking surface. We have this panel that can be removed. This allows us to see the replaceable and cleanable filter that's right here. It also has a mesh filter on it. There's our fan.
And then on the front of the unit, we have the push button controls located right here. These operate the fan as well as the LED light. It's a two wire design. Black is your positive power wire. White is your ground wire.
We can see here on the back we have the exterior venting. Your exterior wall vent is sold separately. We have those available at etrailer.com. Has a really nice gray body with a stainless steel deco face plate right here. Gives it a really nice look once it's all the way installed.Mounting hardware's included. It's CSA certified. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick starting with the overall width measurement. So measuring edge to edge right here, it's about 23 1/2 inches long. The overall height at the tallest point, just here at the back. So if we flatten it out like that, bottom to top is about 4 3/4 inches tall. Very front to very back including this collar, this lip back here. It's about 17 3/4 inches deep. From the front corner to the back corner's about 16 5/8 inches deep. The area right here measures about 10 inches by 3 1/4, and it has a one inch lip or collar.Rating voltage is 12 volt DC. Rating power overall is 12 watts. The LED is one watt. Fan capacity is 100 CFM. That's 100 cubic feet per minute of air flow. Internal wire temperature rating is 221 Fahrenheit or 105 degrees Celsius. And the noise is less than 52 decibels. That's going to do it for today's look at the Furrion vented range hood with a 12 volt fan.
