To add a combination goose neck and fifth wheel hitch to your 1994 Ram 2500 Long Bed I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs Item # BWRVK3500-5W and the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Item # BWGNRK1394-5W.
The custom under bed rails provide you with the goose neck ball for towing goose neck trailers. When you want to tow a fifth wheel trailer the ball is removed and the hitch has a tube that slides into the under bed hitch ball mount location. When installed it does require the bolt to be torqued. Those specifications are located on the hitch near the bolt that needs to be torqued.
As far as removing either, the fifth wheel hitch head can be removed from the base and the base can be removed from the truck. The ball for the goose neck can be flipped over and stored inside the under bed hitch for full bed access. I do recommend keeping the ball base lubricated as it can get seized inside the under bed hitch if it is not lubricated.
