Is 8 Screws Per E-Track Adequate if Installing to Studs in Trailer Wall
Updated 08/31/2020 | Published 08/27/2020 >
Question:
You mentioned 3 screws per foot for fastening the etrac. I want to mount my 5foot sections on the walls and the mounting studs are 16inch apart. So I will get 8 screws mounted into my wall studs. Is this enough for my 5foot Etrac? I cant add sidewall studs to the trailer. Also is there a recommended height for installing the etracs? I will use two of the sections for strapping a mattress to the wall over the wheel well. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Since you plan on attaching your fasteners to the studs of the wall the amount of screws you plan to use would be plenty. We recommend using more screws in situations where studs are not accessible.
The recommended height will be whatever works best for your application.
