Is There A Weight Capacity for the Tie-Downs On the TS (T-Slot) Rails
Updated 08/12/2020 | Published 08/10/2020 >
Question:
Any idea how much uplift these t-tracks can take? they have tie down kits but dont really say what they are rated for. I like the idea that they work with my tonneu cover, but I have a hard time believing that the L shape held on with clamps and then lifted up on the part that overhangs onto the bed could be very strong. Im considering this but it seems weak. I may just bolt down a set of t-tracks from rhino, or yakima to add t-tracks to the top of my bed rails. What do you guys think?

The TS (T-Slot) Rails for Truck Hero Elevate Rack Systems like part # TH65FR can be used for many things such as mounting a ladder rack or using the included tie-downs. I don't have a weight capacity for these tie-downs but they should work to hold most smaller items without issue. If you need to secure heavier objects you should be using the tie-down points inside the truck bed. The TS (T-Slot) Rails for Truck Hero Elevate Rack Systems are bolt-on options which is what makes them so popular.
