If I personally had to choose between an Equal-i-zer or a Curt TruTrack weight distribution system, I'd choose the Equal-i-zer every time. Hands down. No contest, no comparison.
Why? Here's why:
1) Equal-i-zer only makes weight distribution systems. It's their bread and butter, their only line of business. They've been doing it for over 70 years and the quality and performance of the product is absolute proof they know what they're doing.
2) Curt is also a long time player in the towing industry, but weight distribution is not their core business. If you want an outstanding receiver hitch that's well constructed and competitively priced, see them. For weight distribution, they wouldn't be my first choice. We have heard of instances where the L brackets have bent, but in fairness to Curt this is typically caused by a camper that weighs more than what the system is rated for or a system that's been improperly set up.
3) Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems are manufactured in the USA, while the Curt TruTrack is manufactured in China. If you make it a priority to purchase US made products whenever possible, the choice here is clear.
The fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your camper will dictate which system is best for your needs. I'll link you to a help article that shows a few ways to determine this. You'll also want to include the weight of anything stowed in the tow vehicle behind its rear axle in that tongue weight amount.
If the fully loaded tongue weight ranges between 200-600 lbs, use # EQ37060ET. For 600-1000 lbs of tongue weight, use # EQ37100ET and for 800-1200 lbs of tongue weight, use # EQ37120ET. Ideally, you'll want the as-towed tongue weight of your trailer to fall right in the middle of the system's effective weight range to allow for some wiggle room. The trailer ball is included, but a thin walled socket like # EQ70-00-4800 will make installing the ball much easier.
Travel trailers like your Keystone are very susceptible to trailer sway caused by crosswinds or turbulence from passing or oncoming traffic. The sway control component used by the Equal-i-zer system will shut that right down, providing a safe and stress-free towing experience.
In addition to the article that will help you detemine the camper's as-towed tongue weight, I've also linked to a video with more information about the Equal-i-zer weight distribution systems.
