Question:
When traveling at speed, the loud humming is irritating, especially on long trips. Is there anything I can do to mitigate this?

The best option we have to cut down on the wind noise of your MaxxTow Ladder Rack MT70232 would be with a fairing that would attach to the forward most bar and would direct most of the wind around where it's making noise. For that the best option is the Rhino-Rack fairing # RRRF4 which measures 50 inches long and will easily attach to the front bar.
