Question:
Hello Guys, Wondering which filament on the 1157 bulb is running light and which one is the brake/signal filament. My running light seems real bright. Might I just have the two wires coming from my Peterson tail light reversed? Thanks for your time!!

As far as what position they occupy in the bulb, I couldn't say. Dual filament bulbs like the # DI79VR have two different filaments. One filament is of a different resistance value, and thus makes a brighter light. but the brake and turn signal filament would be the brighter of the two.
From what you describe, it certainly sounds as if you have the brake/turn signal and running lamp wire reversed.
