Recommended Way To Carry Bikes Above Propane Tanks On A-Frame Trailer
Question:
We tow an Airstream and carry 2 bikes. We plan to mount an Arvika rack above the propane tanks. The tops of the bikes will be even with the roof of the trailer, and I’m wondering whether the cover will stay put in that scenario?

I took a look at the Arvika Rack that you mentioned and the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs would not fit properly because it it is designed to wrap around the bottom of a platform wrap and zip at the top of the bikes. Since the Arvika requires a frame bracket to attach the frame of the trailer that would not be a good way to wrap the cover around the bottom of that setup.
I recommend to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers part # CC-275 which will give you a receiver to add a bike rack to above the propane tanks. I recommend to use the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers part # S64663 in the carrier to carry the bikes. Then you can use the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs - 2 Bikes part # S24FR around the bikes.
