Solution for Powering Brake Controller Install of 2019 Ford F150 with Factory Tow Package

Question:
I have the wiring and brake controller and found where it plugs into the 2019 F150. I finally found a 30 amp slotted fuse for the 24 spot on the fuse box in the engine compartment. It still does not work. I called the ford dealer and was told there was another fuse that is needed, but they could not tell me which one. I then called another dealer that said it needed a relay, but they could not tell me which one is missing. Can you tell me which fuses and relays on my truck that must have a fuse or relay in order for the brake controller to work?

This is a common issue for installing a brake controller in the 2019 Ford F-150 and the easy solution is to install the part # BRK-ELECKIT which bypasses the very mysterious brake controller power wire issue your truck has and allows your brake controller to draw power directly from the battery. Basically you cut out the black wire from the harness you have now and connect it the wire of this kit and then wire it directly to the battery with the included ring terminals. This bypasses the power situation you have that we can't get a solid answer for either and will get you on the road towing.
I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2018 Ford F-150 for you to check out as well.
