Universal Towing Mirrors For 2001 GMC Savana Van

Question:
Can you tell me if the stock factory mirrors on the above van are the same as the stock factory mirrors on a 2004 Chevy Express Van? They look the same to me. I have been looking at the LVT-1700 mirror and would like to know if I can use them on my 2001 GMC Savana Van. I read the article by Adam about the 2002 Chevy Van not having the same mirrors as the 2004 and up Vans. I wonder whether the GMC and Chevy Vans have the same exact factory mirrors. ??? Thanks for the help.

I do have a towing mirror option for you. The mirrors of the 2003-2019 GMC Savana Van and and the 2003-2019 Chevy Express Vans are the same. However the 2001 GMC Savana Van mirrors are not the same and there is currently not a custom fit slip on towing mirror available for the 2001.
I recommend to use the universal K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2 these mirrors clip onto your factory mirrors as long as they are not more than 11-1/2" tall. The K-Source mirrors are the best option because they offer the most adjust ability compared to other universal towing mirrors. The mirror face will adjust to different angles and the whole mirror can be adjusted to fit vertically or horizontally if you need it to. A lot of our customers think they install and fit snugly even though they are considered an universal option.
