Question:
I need a winch for my boat trailer. The weight of the boat is 4600 pounds and I have a load rite trailer with rollers. The electric winch stopped working last fall. Im fine with a manual since I only pull my boat out once a year. Thanks!

There are numerous factors in play for selecting a boat trailer winch, one of which is whether or not the trailer has rollers but the number of layers out on the strap and the angle of the boat while retrieved also matter. Without getting too technical, a 2:1 ratio is sufficient so the Jif Marine 2-Speed Trailer Winch part # 315-W3200D is what I recommend, and it will give you room to spare as well.
