How To Service Landing Gear Legs On a 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
How do we get the leg out to repair or replace parts?

The easiest option to replace or repair any parts in a landing gear setup would be to couple the trailer to the tow vehicle as this would then support the front of the trailer so you can make repairs as needed. If you are asking what needs to be done once the weight of the trailer is off the landing gear; the first step is to unbolt the motor, disconnect the intermediate shaft, remove the gearbox, and then undo the bolt for the weld stop brackets. Once the bolt is removed the landing gears should be able to be slide out towards the vehicle. I have attached a list of repair parts for you below as well.
