Considerations for Choosing Solar Panels and Inverter for 16-Foot Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I have a 16foot enclosed trailer that I would like to add solar power to. Will want to run 12v LED lighting and also have an inverter to run battery chargers for my hand tools and maybe a radio/Bluetooth player. I dont mind going a bit larger to accommodate future power needs. What are your recommendations?

As you consider your needs and establish your budget for a solar power system for your enclosed trailer I recommend you start with a read of the help articles I have linked for you.
A ground-up solar install is a significant undertaking and the best results come with careful planning. If you can budget for an all-inclusive high-capacity set-up, like the Go Power Solar Flex Kit # 34275012, you can avoid the issue of ending up with less power than you need. Careful review of your devices' power requirements is a must to end up with the system that is right for you.
Go Power also makes inverters like the 700-watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter # 34279946 which can deliver peak surge power of 1230-watts and 700 continuous watts. This unit produces very clean power that is critical for delicate and sensitive items like computers, phones and televisions.
Step 1 is to determine the total power demand for every single item you want to power. This information can usually be found on the device itself.
