For your 2018 Grand Design Solitude the factory temperature sensor for high temp is 158 degrees. This is based on the Michelin Standard for tire temperature. It is the same for all size tires.
Usually a tire will not expand enough to blow until it reaches between 170 and 200 degrees. This alarm should give you enough time to pull over to let the tires cool down before there is a major issue like that. Although your tires will heat up at different rates, this is a fairly good place for those sensors to be set for either tire size. You can cool the tires with cool water. If the sensors are going off the best thing to do if you don't have enough cool water to is to let them rest and take a brake from driving for a lunch or dinner break. Things that can cause high temperatures are dragging brakes or wheel bearing issues so you may want to check before getting back on the road.
I recommend using the TST TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster - 6 Flow Through Tire Sensors # TST-507-FT-6-C for your monitor and the coach tires and then add the Tire Sensors for TST TPMS - Qty 4 # TST-507-RV-S4 to your smart trailer. I've attached the instructions that will help further and have included a few videos as well.
You should be looking at the pressure in your tires as the more significant thing to monitor as it will have a greater impact on traction, tire wear, and tires heating up due to increased friction. The high pressure alarm should be set at about 25 percent above what is normally kept in the tire. The low pressure alarm should be set for 10 percent below what is normally kept in the tire.
