Will Timbren Increase Towing Capacity 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

Looking at Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Item # TFR1504E can see replacement of the bump stops should be fairly straight forward. Question: a would this actually increase the payload of the F-150? My vehicle is a new 2018 Ford F-150, 4 X 4, Super Crrew cab, 6.5foot bed length with 3.55 rear end ratio. I do have the trailer tow package, but rear suspension is leaf + shock. Can feel this feels somewhat muschy compared to 2010 Dodge ram 2500 Diesel- vehicle was traded in on the F-150. I need haul over 1 ton of wood pellets and know the Dodge Ram more capable in this mode. This new Ford has a payload of 2000 lbs just like to improve handling while carrying a load and perhaps pulling a 7- 8,000 boat. Thanks,

Our suspension enhancement kits like the Timbren part # TFR1504E that you referenced will not give you more towing capacity than what the vehicle came with from the factory. It will just allow you a safer and more stable way to continue towing within the capacity.

If you are currently under the capacity for your 2018 Ford F-150 the Timbren kit part # TFR1504E will work well for you and will be a great way to get additional support.
