I reached out to my tech contact at MaxxFan about your MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K and he said the flashing and beeping shows a voltage issue. It is either too high or too low to function correctly so the unit is trying to alert you to the issue.

If you don't have a voltage meter, you can use the Powerbuilt Digital Multimeter # PT89ZR and select the 20 V on the reader in the 10 o'clock position. This will give you the voltage reading going to your fan so you can see if you have a wiring issue or a battery issue.

This did not work for me. Fan is getting exactly 12.8 volts. Had installed a buck/boost to ensure correct voltage after it happened the first time. Now as soon as I reset it, it beeps and goes solid green and turns off

I would start by pulling the 12VDC fuse to that circuit and letting that set for 15 minutes to see if you get a reset at the fan control board. Next pull the garnish trims down to expose the wires. Test voltage there while disconnected from the circuit. Use a continuity tester also check the buttons for on/off functionality. Next remove circuit board and check for obvious heat damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Remove the temperature probe is so equipped and see if that allows the fan to operate If you try the steps above, and you are sure you are getting good voltage, then you may have a defective circuit board. If you have the MaxxAir # MA00-07500K fan then you will need Curcuit board # MA10A21275K
