I spoke with my contact at Dexter regarding the axle on your trailer. He stated that the serial number you found is a pretty old number and unfortunately they don't have much information on this particular axle. He was not able to confirm its rating or length.
If you are looking to replace the axle, we do not have any torsion axles available but I do have a great option. I recommend taking a look at an Axle-Less System like the Timbren # TASR7KS01. This 7.000 pound system will provide a smooth, quiet ride and can eliminate the need for a standard axle. It consists of two separate units, each containing steel arms and two strong, hollow rubber springs. They will fit any frame width.
I have attached a short video demonstration so you can see exactly how it installs.
For compatible hubs with an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern you can use the Dexter # 42866UC3-EZ. Then for the needed brake assemblies you can use # 23-0105 for the Left Hand and # 23-106 for the Right Hand.
