Relay Location for Activating Running Lights of 2013 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I bought c57000 2013 Nissan Frontier because I have no running lights on the 4-pin trailer wiring I have break right and left turn signal and reversed no running lights this is a light bar that goes under the tailgate so the brake light is hardwired and the reverse is hardwired the rest is plugged into the frame rail to the gray plug in the pigtail is plugged into the light bar the problem that I have took the dash apart to put the new part in its place and it only has a 2 set up a black and one blue plug the middle one is missing all together and this truck is set up with a 7 pin tow package that I unplugged how can I make the running lights work with the light bar on the 4 pin wiring harness

Trailer running lights not working with certain Nissan vehicles is a common problem with an easy fix. There is a relay for the trailer running light circuit that is located in the fuse box (in the cab). If that relay is missing or no longer functions then it can be replaced with one of the blue relays from the Curt Relay Kit # C57000.
The relay of the running light circuit on your 2013 Nissan Frontier is in the relay harness behind the passenger floorboard kick panel.
