Question:
Which of the Curt or the Draw-Tite will best fit a 2006 Toyota Corolla S Sport version with extra trim around the car There may or may not be any difference in the rear dimension from the frame mounting points to the bottom of the trim and bumper bottom and top of the cross bar of the hitch. Regards

Expert Reply:
For your 2006 Toyota Corolla Sport, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11265. This hitch hangs down lower on the vehicle in comparison to the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24913. As you can see in the attached photo, this hitch will fit the sport model perfectly and will not require any trimming of the rear bumper fascia or ground effects.
I have attached an installation video on a similar 2007 Toyota Corolla for you. If you can tell me what you will be using the hitch for I would be glad to make some additional recommendations for you as well.
