For your 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV with the 6.0L V8 engine, I recommend looking at the Derale Transmission Cooler # D13503. This is an excellent plate-fin cooler that will help to prolong the life of your transmission, providing more efficient cooling, especially when towing up those mountain passes.
The cooler itself measures 11 inches wide, 8-3/4 inches tall, and 7/8 inch deep. I just recommend making sure that you have the needed space available between the Escalade's grille and AC condensor core to mount the unit. You can use the Custom Fittings # D13035 and # D13018 to allow for a quick and easy installation.
I have attached a sample installation video on this product that you can take a look at, along with an article on transmission coolers that you might find helpful.
