I watched the video of the installation of the brake controller on the 2017 F150. After installation, do you need to reprogram the truck and turn on the brake controller function with FORSCAN?

We have not activated any controllers using FORSCAN, however from the information I can find online, it does appear you will be able to add the aftermarket brake controller and use that software to ensure your brake controller is working properly.
