Question:
Best choice for e350 motor home. I have a older 95 ford class c. I want to haul a 400 pound load on the back bumper. Will these reduce the sag in the suspension? Or would air bags be better? Thank-you

The Timbren system # TFER35092B would work to reduce sag in the suspension, as would the air bags. However, there are a few differences in how the Timbren systems work as compared to the air bag helper springs.
The Timbren systems don't require adjustment, air, or maintenance. They are also easier to install than air springs. The only down side to these is that they can engage on large bumps when the RV is unloaded. This gives you a decent kick because the springs are really firm when under no load, so if they engage they do so at their most rigid point.
The air bags like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2061, on the other hand, have a more involved installation process, but they are adjustable, so you can alter them for loaded or unloaded travel. They absorb shock better because of the air system whether loaded or unloaded, but you do have to either plan ahead to add air when hauling or install a compressor like # AL25592 to put that adjustability at your fingertips in the cab of your truck.
