The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88138 is indeed the correct kit for your 1989 Ford E-350 chassis. The air springs will certainly help to level out the rear of the RV and stabilize the suspension for reduced sway but it's important to keep in mind that this and all other similar kits are designed to work with suspension systems that are in good working order. This simply means that while the springs will provide benefit you likely won't get the chassis up to stock standards until the worn leaf springs you mentioned are replaced as well.

I have attached the written installation instructions that you can also check out.

Another component I recommend considering if you are concerned with sway is a rear anti-sway bar. For your E-350 chassis we have the Roadmaster # RM-1139-117 as long as you have the V8 engine. This will mount to the rear axle and frame to balance weight transfer and drastically reduce body roll during travel.
