I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT and I have a 12ft aluminum boat and trailer that I need to haul around and was wondering if this hitch would be good enough for the job just hauling the boat short distances to the lake and stuff. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks a lot,

This Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 24769, has towing capacities of 2000 lbs total trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. If your boat and trailer weighs less than that this hitch would be adequate for you.
You should also consult the owners manual of your 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT for the towing capacity of your vehicle. You should always go with the lowest towing capacity of all the components of your towing setup when determining your overall towing capacity.
