Question:
2017 Pacifica with factory trailer tow package. I am told that there should be a connector for the trailer brake control under the instrument panel but I cant find it. Do you know if there is actually one there and where it might be hidden?

There is a connector under the dash to install an electric brake controller in your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. From what I found it is above the steering column near where it goes through the firewall and has a green cover over the connector.
The correct harness to use is # TK93VR. This is the same harness that fits the Durango and Grand Cherokee.
