My trailer calls for a 13x5 rim can I use a 13x4.5

I don't know what "calls for" means but using a 13x4.5 wheel instead of a 13x5 inch wheel will give you 1/4 inch more clearance on either side regarding just the wheel portion, but they will both fit the same sizes of tire. We have 175/80-13 tires that fit both wheel sizes as well as 185/80-13 tires that fit both wheel sizes. Most of our 13x5 wheels are the aluminum wheels like # AM22323HWTB where the 13x4.5 wheels offer all the options.
