If you are using a Yakima KingJoe Pro 2 # Y02624-12 with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need the glass hatch hook adapters for your vehicle. The hook adapters expand the fit of Yakima's 'Joe' series trunk mounted bike racks and serve as an alternative when standard hooks cannot be used for mounting racks on glass windows of hatchbacks.
You will receive a pair of glass hatch hooks with the KingJoe Pro 2 to use with your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and you will not need extra hooks to install the rack on your vehicle.
If you plan on carrying any women's, children's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to make loading easier.
I have attached a review video of the KingJoe Pro which explains how the glass adapters sit which you may want to check out.
