Can a Trailer Wiring Junction Box Be Used on a Trailer with a Battery and Power Inverter

Question:
Hi there! Im looking at this product for our small horse trailer 38656 Were planning to do some camping in our trailer, and Id like to have the option of plugging in coffee makers and phone chargers, as well as having various lights, without draining the truck. So, at some point, were going to have to put in a deep cycle marine battery and converter or inverter, I have only just started to research this so my understanding is still limited. Would this junction box accommodate that sort of system when were able to install it? Thanks!

The junction box part # 38656 is a great way to organize trailer wiring on a trailer. There's no reason you couldn't use this with what you are trying to do.
You would have to run the 12 volt accessory circuit of your trailer's connector to the junction box and then from there to the battery of the trailer.

I just need to box to hold a shunt in thats weatherproof. Can you confirm that the 7pin buss bar can be easily removed by just drilling out the two rivets that I see in the pictures?
