Question:
I am looking to buy a Class III hitch for a 2016 Subaru Outback. Are there any advantages between the Curt Hitch or the Draw-Tite Hitch? Is there one you would recommend over the other?

We offer a couple of different Class III hitches for the 2016 Subaru Outback (not including the Sport model.)
Curt makes a wonderful product, but their hitch warranty states that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 must be used for non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier. The problem is, not every vehicle provides a good place for the strap to attach to the vehicle. The spoiler at the top of the hatch makes your Outback unsuitable for the stabilizing strap, so I'd recommend against the Curt # C13206.
Quality wise, the choices are equivalent, so you'd sacrifice nothing by going with the lowest priced alternative, the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75673.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll need the following to complete your towing system:
Ball mount, part # D-4
Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118467
