Question:

Any reason this rack would not be recommended to carry a light with alluminum 12 foot fishing boat? I never see a mention of carrying a boat so wanted to be sure before I purchaed. Thanks

Technically you could put anything on the Erickson truck bed ladder rack # EM07706 as long as it is within the 800 pound weight capacity and the load was properly secured. On a boat you will need to secure the bow and stern so I recommend tie down kit # TH855XT.
