Question:
i purchased a wiring harness recently for a Vovlo S60 and there were no wiring instructions. could you email such to me. thanks much.

The # C59496 is not a vehicle specific item, so there aren't vehicle specific instructions available for it.
However, I'd be happy to walk you though the process. You'll want to locate the wiring harnesses that feed the taillight assemblies. Accessing the rear of the assemblies as if you're changing a burned out bulb is the easiest spot to get to the wiring. Have a helper activate the left turn signal, and probe the wires using the circuit tester included with the kit until you find the wire that makes the tester blink. When you locate it, tap the yellow wire into this circuit. Turn on the running lights, and probe the wires until you find the one that lights the tester, tap the brown wire into this circuit. On the passenger side, look for the wire that goes hot with the right turn signal, and tap the green wire into that circuit. Then look for a wire that goes hot with the brake and tap the red wire into it. You'll need to extend the black wire and run it to the positive battery terminal, using the yellow fuse holder inline.
