Will the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75751 Fit a 2012 Ford Escape XLT w/ Factory 1-1/4 Hitch
Question:
I have a 2012 Escape XLT with a fatory 1.25inch hitch and want to install a Draw Tite #75751 2inch hitch. Can it be accomplished with the factory hitch still in place? If not, do I have to remove the bumper to remove the factory hitch? Thanks.

The factory trailer hitch on your 2012 Ford Escape will need to remain in place to install the new Draw-Tite 2 inch hitch # 75751. The installation instructions, linked for you, are separated out for models with the OEM hitch and a separate set for models that do not have the OEM hitch.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And if you need trailer wiring use # 118551. I have linked a video showing installation for you.
