Question:
I used the trailer only a couple of times , and when I hooked up the trailer I get turn signals on my jeep but not on the trailer. I checked all connections , grounds bulbs etc. All are showing good on the trailer , but I have no power , brakes or signals on liberty. Running lights are working . I believe that the module may be blown out.

The first thing to do is disconnect the trailer from the Liberty. Then using a circuit tester, like part # PTW2993, test each pin of the 4-Way. Clip the alligator clip of the circuit tester to the exposed post, the ground wire. Check each pin with the probe. The brown wire should be running lights. Yellow should be left brake and turn, and green should have the same functions but for the right side.
If these functions all work, then the problem is on the trailer. If not, then the problem is either on the car or the harness itself. Check the fuse block and see if there are any tow or taillight fuses that are blown. Check the wire functions coming out of the front side of the converter box. If these function properly, red-brake, yellow-left blinker, green-right blinker, and brown taillight, then the converter may be bad.
