Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to Max Pressure Rating on Sidewall

I have haida trailer tires on my horses trailer. Class e st225/75r15. It says max load 80psi cold. Is that correct? Dont want to over inflate as l haul 3 hrs in trips?

Yes, 80 psi cold is correct pressure to use in your tires. Basically you need to inflate the tires to 80 psi at the beginning of the day when they are the coldest and from there any pressure fluctuations due to heat would be acceptable.
