Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2013 Toyota Avalon

I am looking to set my boyfriend up with a bike rack for his new Avalon. He doesnt want one that attaches to the trunk. We would rather have a hitch and rack that holds two bikes. What do you think is the best one to get? Thank you so much,

I will be happy to get you set up for a hitch and bike rack. For the 2013 Toyota Avalon, all of the available hitches, see link, are Class II hitches. The most popular hitch is currently Draw-Tite, # 36540. This hitch will not fit a hybrid model Avalon. I have incldued a link to the installation instructions.

For a bike rack, the Swagman XTC2, # S64670, is one of the most popular platform style bike racks available. It would be a good choice for the vehicle, especially if you are looking for ease of loading bikes, have alternative frame bikes, or prefer platform style over hanging style.
