Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Rampage Gray Center Console for your Jeep with locking single storage compartment. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1976 to 1983 Jeep CJ5, '76 to '86 Jeep CJ7, and the '87 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Now this center console provides extra storage space in your Jeep for small items.

Also offers four cup holders, two in front here, two in the back. Also has this nice pivoting front mounted sunglass holder, which lined with a nice non-scratch material so when you put your glasses in there, they won't get scratched. You can close it up. Right above that is the convenient spring action coin organizer right at the very front here.And this is a locking storage compartment, prevents theft of items that are stowed inside. It comes with the two keys to lock it.

Also up at the top here when it's closed like this, it gives you a nice extra large padded arm rest and that lifts up for access to the compartment. So if we unlock it, turn the key quarter of a turn, unlocks it and it'll open up. You can see it has a nice strap on it to keep it from falling back. And it uses a nice piano hinge. So again, you just close it, open it up.

On the inside, they do offer a recessed removable cooler insert that can hold a six pack of soda in your storage compartment. Also a removable CD holder. That'll hold CDs in place. If you don't want to use either one though, you can leave them out and have a large storage compartment. Otherwise, you can put the CD holder in and the cooler insert in there.Now this is custom designed to fit between the front seats of your vehicle.

It won't interfere with the folded up rear tumble seat in your Jeep. It is a secure mounting with the supplied hardware. Drilling is required for installation. Now it also includes this leveling bracket, which might be needed for some applications. The finish on this is a nice gray color fabric, very durable fabric material. Last thing I want to do . Oh, it does come with a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install it.And the last thing I want to do is give you some dimensions. So the length we're going to measure from the part here to the widest part from here to here. If we put a ruler on it, you can see it's going to go right at to 27 and a quarter inches long. The width on it, it's going to be right at eight and three quarter inches wide. And the total height to the tallest point, 12 and a half inches tall. But again, just to show you, this will lift up, have a large storage compartment. And then when you close it, just turn your key a quarter of a turn, take the key out, and it's locked so nobody can get into it. And it does come with the two keys.
