Hey, Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this PTC Custom Air Intake Filter for our engine in our 2022 Lincoln Navigator. We have our hood of our Navigator already opened up so let's locate where the filter will be in our housing. So the first thing we're going to identify is where this large intake hose is gonna be followed by where the intake box will be or where it looks like a filter will fit into, which in our case is right here on the side. And we can start by removing some of these latches which is all we need to do. And then just wiggle it out.
And you can see there's our old filter. So just pop that out, and we'll swap the filters for the new one. You can see that this one has definitely had some use and it's pretty dirty Comparing the old filter right next to the new filter, you can see just how much use these get. So this one did a great job of trapping some dirt and debris from getting into your engine but now you know it's been a while. We definitely recommend replacing these around every 12,000 miles or so to make sure that you're trapping all that debris that's getting in and also increasing the airflow into your engine.
On the filter, you can see that it has this silicone gasket around the side to ensure it gets sealed. It's got this diamond mesh to make sure that it has that structural integrity and it protects the actual front side. And you see all these ridges here that are going to help trap that dirt and debris from getting into your engine. All that's left to do for the install is to put the new filter in. It'll just seat directly in place.
You'll see that gasket form that nice seal on the outside, pop this back down. Might have to come in at kind of an angle to make sure that those ridges fit in the other side. Come back down, snap these two back in place and you're installed. And that right there was a look at the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Intake Filter on our 2022 Lincoln Navigator.

Is substantial and not filmsy in anyway and is very similiar in quality as OEM filter.
Product arrived today, but I haven't put the filter in my truck yet. Will say that the filter arrived quite timely within 2 business days from ordering.
This is the correct filter for my vehicle - exactly what I ordered. Delivery took so long that I started to doubt that the order had gone through. I got tired of waiting and bought one locally and installed it. I’ll use this one in the future so it all worked out.
My package arrived in ok condition! Way to much much room to be shaken and be destroyed. Luckily mine arrived ok. Some of the original packaging was dented and deformed do to over sized box! I got lucky!

Looks like good quality, but the car is new and I haven't installed it yet.
I clearly identified my vehicle as a 2000 Mercedes Benz E320. The air filters (3) which you sent me are the right width, but are an inch too long, and are therefore unusable. They cannot be made to fit in the air cleaner compartment. Not acceptable.
