Is Gap Between Camper Bottom And Top Of Truck Bed Side Rails A Concern
Question:
do I need to worry about the top of the bed rails on the truck being about 4 inches or so to the bottom of the sides of my hardside cabover camper?? The camper is sitting on its bottom on the truck bed P,S, Did I attach your tie downs correctly?

When a camper is loaded on a pickup truck bed there will be a gap between the truck bed rails and the underside of the camper as you show in your photo. No worries there.
For your camper tie-downs, it loos as though you have attached the rear ones just as they are designed and if the front tie-down is attached to something strong enough you will have no problems. It actually looks like the eyebolt that is normally used for the front tie-down would be behind the stake pocket tie-down and that would not work. The photo helps a lot to see how you have it installed.
Again, if the attach point that the front tie-down is attached to is strong enough, you will not have any issues.
