im thinking about the edge cts2 with attitude and juice to increase mileage when towing on my 2014 ram 3500 with aisin 6 speed automatic. dont want to go crazy with horsepower maybe 40 more. do not need level 6 unlock. probably would never go above level 2. i like the idea of being able to monitor more things like egts, tranny temp, oil temp, oil pressure, engine antifreeze temp, boost, tc slippage and more all at a glance. also would like to be able to do manual regens after prolonged idling. when pulling some long hills tranny will shift between 5th and 6th until i lock out 6th gear, which means more rpms. more rpms equal lower mileage. hope the hp increase will solve that problem. the truck has 3.23 gears in rearend. maybe should have gone with 3.54s instead. usually tow in cruise at 70 mph at 1700 rpms in 6th gear. |
