The Edge Comp part # EP30301 has been confirmed as a fit for your 24 valve Cummins in your 2001 Dodge Ram and can give an additional 120 horsepower and 350 ft. lbs of torque.
Any time you increase the power levels of a vehicle you greatly increase the likelihood of finding the weak spot in the driveline of the vehicle. With 350 additional ft lbs of torque and an abusive driving style you are going to push the limits of the transmission. And by that I mean it's most likely going to fail.
Typically with large power increases like this you end up having to have the transmission built to handle it.
