Hi! Will the e98878 work on my OEM roof rack? The bar is about 2.5inch wide, 0.5inch thick and from the bottom of the rail to the roof is about 2.

The etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier, part # e98878, is designed to work with factory crossbars. It fits crossbars up to 3-1/8" wide x 1-1/2" tall, so it will definitely work with your 2016 Nissan Murano.

The etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier part #e98878 should work just fine on a 2018 Nissan Rogue. It fits crossbars up to 3-1/8" wide x 1-1/2" tall so there should be no issues.
